THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE STRUGGLE AGAINST ANTI-SEMITISM AND FASCISM

The international day of the struugle against Anti-Semitism and Fascism was marked on November 9, 2009 with an state ceremony. Minister of the Foreign Affairs in the Serbian Government Vuk Jeremić addressed Serbian and international officials present at the event and Serbian public. In Serbia, this day was marked officially for the first time in 2007, in cooperation of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Jasenovac Committee and the Union of the Jewish Communities. |

SERBIA BECAME LIAISON MEMBER OF THE INTERNATIONAL TASK FORCE

On January 3, 2009 Republic of Serbia was accepted as a Liaison Country to the Task Force for International Cooperation on Holocaust Education, Remembrance, and Research. Serbia was accepted during annual plenary meeting of this international association in Trondheim (Norway). |
